Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of Khaosis, including its Discord bot, moderation systems, databases, websites, and related services.

Last updated: July 2026
By inviting Khaosis to a Discord server, using its commands, or interacting with its services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Do not use Khaosis if you do not agree with these terms.

1. Definitions

Khaosis refers to the Discord bot and its associated services, systems, databases, websites, and infrastructure.

User refers to any individual who interacts with Khaosis.

Server Owner refers to the owner or an authorized administrator of a Discord server where Khaosis is installed.

Service refers to all functionality made available through Khaosis.

2. Eligibility

You must comply with:

  • Discord's Terms of Service;
  • Discord's Community Guidelines; and
  • all applicable laws and regulations.

You may not use Khaosis in any manner that violates Discord's policies or applicable law.

3. Service Availability

Khaosis is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

We do not guarantee continuous availability, uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, permanent data retention, or compatibility with every server configuration.

Outages, maintenance periods, updates, and unexpected interruptions may occur.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • abuse, exploit, or attempt to compromise Khaosis;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
  • reverse engineer, modify, copy, or redistribute the Bot without authorization;
  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or malicious purposes;
  • bypass permissions, restrictions, safeguards, or security mechanisms; or
  • use Khaosis to harass users, coordinate abuse, or violate the rights of others.

Abuse may result in immediate restriction, suspension, or termination of access.

5. Moderation Actions

Khaosis provides moderation tools that may include warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans, message management, channel controls, case management, notes, and audit records.

Khaosis performs actions based on commands issued by authorized server staff. Server owners and administrators are responsible for how the Bot is configured and how its moderation features are used.

The operators of Khaosis are not responsible for moderation decisions, disputes, sanctions, or enforcement actions made by a server's staff.

6. Data Collection

To provide its functionality, Khaosis may process and store limited Discord-related information, including:

  • Discord user, server, channel, and role IDs;
  • moderation actions and case records;
  • reasons, notes, and changes submitted by moderators;
  • command usage and operational logs;
  • server configuration and permission settings; and
  • timestamps and technical metadata related to Bot activity.

Khaosis does not intentionally collect Discord passwords, payment card or banking information, or personal information beyond what is provided through Discord or voluntarily entered into the Service.

7. Data Retention

Moderation records, audit data, configuration settings, and technical logs may be retained for operational, security, and accountability purposes.

Server owners may request deletion of their server's stored data through the official Khaosis support channels.

Some records may be retained temporarily when reasonably necessary for abuse prevention, security investigations, legal compliance, backups, or enforcement of these terms.

8. Privacy

Khaosis is intended to access only the information reasonably needed to provide its features.

We do not sell personal data.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce these terms, comply with Discord policies, protect the Service, investigate abuse, or protect the rights and safety of users.

9. Server Owner Responsibilities

Server owners and authorized administrators are responsible for:

  • configuring Khaosis appropriately;
  • granting only the permissions required for its operation;
  • maintaining a suitable Discord role hierarchy;
  • ensuring staff members use moderation tools lawfully and responsibly;
  • informing their members about relevant moderation and data practices; and
  • complying with applicable legal obligations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of Khaosis shall not be liable for loss or corruption of data, loss of access, moderation disputes, service interruptions, unauthorized use caused by server misconfiguration, or indirect and consequential damages.

Your use of Khaosis is at your own risk.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Khaosis, remove the Bot from a server, or block a user or community from using the Service.

This may occur without prior notice when reasonably necessary due to abuse, malicious activity, security concerns, legal requirements, Discord policy violations, or violations of these terms.

12. Changes to the Service

Khaosis may be updated, modified, expanded, restricted, or discontinued at any time.

Features may be added, changed, or removed as development continues. We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature indefinitely.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when published unless another effective date is stated.

Continued use of Khaosis after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Contact

Questions, data requests, and concerns regarding these terms may be submitted through the official Khaosis support channels.

15. Acknowledgement

By inviting Khaosis to a Discord server, using its commands, or interacting with its features, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
